Big Deals on PLASA 2011 - ELATION Pushes Forward
At this year’s PLASA, ELATION PROFESSIONAL presented outstanding and cutting edge technology.
The annual PLASA show in Earls Court, London, resulted in tremendous success for ELATION PROFESSIONAL. Again, ELATION was one step ahead of the lighting industry. Three years ago ELATION presented the Platinum Powered Moving Head series and introduced a unique lighting instrument, the EPV762 MH Moving LED Screen last year. This year ELATION premiered the EVC MH Camera moving Head which is fully controlled by DMX!
This very light and seriously small moving video camera can easily be mounted anywhere on stage or in the club. It can be fully integrated into the light show cues as well as easily driven by affordable DMX lighting consoles instead of expensive video hardware. The EVC MH also features 48 DMX-controllable LEDs in cold-white and warm-white, to help expose the triggered objects in dark environments. Zoom and Focus can be fully controlled by the operator, as well as movement and all the other features included.
TV studios and theaters, in order to have the amount of white light suitable for the camera, used Fresnel-spots in the past. Today, LED-based light sources save power, have less weight and produce less heat as well as no humming noise caused when dimming. Because ELATION offers such a variety of LED based spots for usage in TV, theatre and museums, it was honored by many compliments from users already.
Now ELATION adds another product to the family: the TVL-3000! A cold or warm white studio light, with no fan, consisting of an array of 24 x 3W high powered 3,200 k or 5,000 k white LEDs. Also included are interchangeable lens sets of 10, 25 and 40 degrees.
Furthermore, showing the high-resolution EPV and EVLED Video Screen series and a wide range of LED based RGB+Amber or RGB+White LED fixtures along with a professional range of architectural and outdoor lighting, ELATION has received the greatest compliments from their users so far.
